Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy was born in Miami Florida on 16 April 1996. She is half English and half Spanish. Her parents are Dennis Alan Taylor an ex-banker and Jennifer Marina Joy psychologist. Their father is Argentine from Scottish and English heritage. Her mother has Spanish and English ancestry. The Taylor-Joy family was a family with six kids. Four are her siblings of the marriage that she had with Taylor's dad. Her family lived in Buenos Aires from the time she was just six up until the day they left for Victoria, London. According to Taylor-Joy, this removal was extremely difficult for her and she decided to not learn English in the hopes of returning to Argentina. Hill House had to be her new school when she changed schools from Northlands. In the following year, she joined Queen's Gate School to study ballet and to perform in school's plays. Then she dropped out of high school at the age of 16 in order to concentrate on her acting profession. Taylor-Joy always knew she wanted to work as an actress. Her dream was granted a opportunity by Sarah Doukas founder of Storm Management, who offered her an opportunity as a model.
