Arianna Huffington

Arianna Stassinopoulos Huffington is a Greek American author syndicated columnist and businesswoman. She's the co-founder and chief executive officer of Thrive Global, as well as the author of 15 books. Arianna Huffington, an independent liberal news outlet and a television host author, author and charitable donor. She was born in Greece and relocated to England at age 16. In Cambridge University, she graduated with a MA in economics. At 21 she became head of the famous debate club The Cambridge Union' and was the first non-native student who was elected to this position. Her success as a conservative columnist was consolidated after she finished her degree. After the launch of The Huffington Post a few year later, she established an online platform for voice that gave critiques of the politics. Arianna was able to attract numerous prominent contributors to post their opinions on culture and politics. Arianna first gained notoriety in 2003 as she stood in the California recall election to succeed Governor Davis. Also, she was the head of an Detroit energy-efficient vehicle project. In 2009 she was named by Forbes as The most influential women in the media, achieving 12th position in the list. The same year, the Guardian listed her on the top 100 list of media. AOL purchased The Huffington Post from AOL in 2011. Then she was appointed the president of the AOL media group. It was comprised of several AOL-owned properties, such as Engadget AOL Style List and Patch Media. Elli Stasinopoulos is a daughter of Konstantinos a management advisor and journalist. The way she lived her life was determined through her relationship with her mother and her bond with her father, despite her being very close to the latter. In her earliest period, she displayed leadership skills for which are still prominently known. When she was in her 16th year she returned to the UK for a degree and attended Girton College Cambridge. In college, she was a member of the Cambridge Union, a college debating club. As the third woman president and first foreigner, she served as the head for the Cambridge Union. In 1972, she earned the degree of Master in Economics. Following her graduation, she worked as a journalist and TV host. Additionally, she starred alongside Bernard Levin in an episode of Face the music and started writing books using his editorial assistance.
