Lowell began her acting career when she appeared in Dangerously Close. She then appeared in a small role on the Robin Williams film Club Paradise. She also had roles co-starring alongside Bond girl Pam Bouvier, in the James Bond movie Licence to Kill (1989), and as the Assistant District Attorney Jamie Ross, in 1996. She was also a part of Law & Order for two seasons. In 2005, she appeared in the identical role of Jamie Ross on Law & Order: Trial by Jury. In 2022 she was back in the original series. [6] Prior to taking on the role she was dissatisfied with her acting career. She was accepted into New York University's documentary filmmaking programme. [4] She took a hiatus from acting in the mid-2000s. Lowell gave Lowell her voice and appearance in 2012, while reprising her Licence to Kill part in the video game 007 Legends. 2018 saw her returning to the television screen, where she appeared on Blue Bloods. [7][8] Personal life Lowell has been married three times. Her first husband was fashion photographer John Stember, to whom she was married from 1984 until 1988. [9][10] The couple were married from 1989 to 1995 to actor Griffin Dunne and they have a daughter, Hannah. [citation needed] Lowell married actor Richard Gere in November 2002,[11after the birth of their child Homer James Jigme Gere, who was born in February 2000. Two years later, after eleven years of marriage, they divorced in September of 2013. They were in New York Supreme Court divorce process. The divorce case was finally settled in October 2016. [13]
